1) the state of being one, or united; 2) the quality of being one in spirit, sentiment, purpose, etc.

Wouldn't it be nice if unity was easy?! Sadly, it's not. We divide over political party lines. We divide over which team is better. We divide over economic standing. We divide over who's in and who's out. We divide over the smallest, most insignificant things. We even divide over churches and denominations. As a friend from Decatur General would say, "Now that's a scandalous and a shame!"

Thankfully, we enjoyed a little taste of unity last night during a time of worship with our friends from Decatur Baptist. And here's the thing about it...
"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:35)
